Home repairs and emergency needs, like COVID relief, are just a couple examples of our holistic work. Imagine what it would be like to live under a roof that leaked in over twenty places, or to climb a make-shift ladder while carrying your infant just to enter your home because you cannot afford to build a set of stairs.  What if your home was on the second story and had an outdoor space with no railing to protect your children from falling? What if the patriarch and main breadwinner of the family who was previously healthy contracted COVID and died within a matter of days leaving hungry children and distraught family members? These are real-life circumstances our friends have faced, circumstances that have been changed through BTGI’s work.
